What is a Modern Coast Loyalty Card?
A loyalty Card program is a motivation plan that allows a business to gather information about its customers. This is done to build repeat business by offering participating customers something that non-participating customers cannot have.
In this particular program, customers are offered rewards like points and any other promotional discount available, for choosing to travel with Modern Coast.
What does a Loyalty Card Look Like?
A loyalty card resembles a plastic ATM or Credit Card or a Supermarket smart card, with a code number that is usually keyed in when paying for a ticket.
Through the keyed in code, the card identifies the customer and displays their information.
How is it used?
The most basic functionality of a Loyalty Card is to earn points whenever the card is used to book a travel ticket. You give us business and we reward you with a percentage in terms of points to sustain loyalty.
Your job as a customer is to work toward a certain amount of points to redeem your reward.
Frequent customers will earn more points, which are redeemable after a period of time. Presently, if the customer accrues the required amount of points, they can be translated into free tickets. More rewards will be included in future.
There are two types of Loyalty card.We have student Loyalty cards and general public cards.The student loyalty program is geared towards rewarding students who travel between academic terms or even holiday period.
The student loyalty card helps the parent in a way to reduce costs incurred for child to travel.Accumulated points results to free travel just redeeming points of travel.They get to be drawn on student contests each term that would see them get prizes like computers etc.Modern coast being in more-than 60 destinations country wide it will assist students be on time,safe and happy back to school and home.
Parents can as well track their children while onboard by simply key in the ticket number and exact location will show up.Students get to earn more points than normal card holders as they travel less in a year and are restricted to academic terms.In coming months they will be able to compete in contests that will award their parents,schools or even themselves of valuables.This is inline with our strategy that each and every child in Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania and Rwanda must be able to access affordable means of transport in support of their academic endeavours.
