The Company just recently celebrated its 6th anniversary but to many it seems like we have been around forever, at the time of inception we only plied the Nairobi Mombasa route and even that had its fair share of challenges. Challenges are what defines any institution, you have to learn to face them, pre-empt them and put neccesary measures in place to ensure the smooth running of the institution. Despite all this we decided we were too a big a company for the Mombasa Nairobi route alone hence begun the exploration into other regions, first on the agenda was the lucrative Kampala route via Kisumu and Busia. The upcountry routes soon followed and soon we became a brand to recon with.
With over 18 branches in Kenya and Uganda at the start of 2014 we decided to take it a notch higher, we set our eyes on covering as much of the region as we could and being a Kenyan company, charity was bound to begin at home, in came Mombasa-Kitale, Mombasa-Machakos-Kitui and then Mombasa-Tanga-Dar Es Salaam and by the end of 2014 we had offices in over 22 regions up from the 18 at the start.
The Dar Es Salaam passengers were the happiest of the lot, they finally had the comfort they felt they not only desired but also deserved. They were happy to book from Nairobi to Mombasa as long as they had an assurance they would get into our Dar bound bus from Mombasa. It was a long and tiring journey a minimum 8 hours to Mombasa and another 8 hours from Mombasa to Dar Es Salaam , a total of 1010 kilometers , factor in the change of buses in Mombasa and the border clearance it was a journey that however much comfort the buses offered was due to cause one fatigue.
The Nairobi passengers soon made it clear they needed a bus of their own, one that would save them time, preferably one that went through the Namanga route as it was relatively shorter about 918 Kilometers, almost 100 Kilometers shorter than the Mombasa-Tanga route.
Hence came the introduction and you can always trust the ultimate leader to get its timing right, on the 12th of February 2015 we finally begun operating the Nairobi-Arusha-Moshi-Dar Es Salaam route just on the eve of valentines day, better still we had amazing offers for the 1st 20 tickets purchased as they were going for half prices, they also had the priviledge or riding in our newest buses. Another milestone passed in our quest to maintain our status as the most reliable and trusted travel partner in the East African region.
